Changbao Co., Ltd. is a leading enterprise in the field of special-purpose pipe materials in China. To accelerate the industrial iteration and upgrading, its subsidiary Changbao Jingte has initiated the precision steel pipe project, built new standardized workshops, and constructed an intelligent warehousing and logistics system to achieve full-chain integration of production, warehousing and materials. Relying on its profound experience in digitalization and intelligence in the steel industry, AIMS is responsible for the construction and delivery of the intelligent warehousing and logistics system for this project. With its advanced technological advantages and efficient delivery capabilities, it has effectively consolidated the core logistics links in the intelligent upgrade of the factory.

Build up a 18.8 m high of the project of steel pipe intelligent warehouse, using cantilever racking system combined with beam type, stacker, RGV, conveyor and shape detection, such as the core of intelligent equipment, carrying hkust at independent research and development of WMS storage equipment control and management, the WCS SCARM equipment networked management information system, Can automatically from 10 to 76 mm diameter, length of 4~12.2 m of welded pipe and seamless pipe finished product and intermediates of storage and directly, and implemented with lines to pipeline welding, heat treatment and cold working of seamless docking.

 

• Vertical integration, production and warehouse integration: The AS/RS adopts a vertical integration layout, with production equipment placed adjacent to both sides. Through seamless connection with loading and unloading equipment, it realizes the fully automatic closed-loop flow of materials throughout the factory. This design comprehensively replaces manual handling, fundamentally addressing the pain points of the traditional mode such as low efficiency, high safety risks, easy pipe damage, and high labor intensity, laying a solid foundation for efficient, stable, and high-quality large-scale production. 

  
  

• Long material visual inspection system:The system identifies the intersection status of pipe supports to determine whether there is a stack of pipe supports, and proposes an innovative idea of coordinated arrangement of mobile and fixed end cameras to achieve accurate length measurement and alignment detection of multi specification pipe rows. The entire set of algorithms and supporting tooling equipment are completely independently developed, filling the technical gap in the field of long material visual inspection in the industry.
