
Recently, AIMS has released the first industrial Internet terminal device based on NB-IoT technology - iDTU intelligent data terminal. iDTU is an industrial-grade device for data collection and monitoring, data computer caching and wireless remote transmission. It can be flexibly connected with on-site PLCs, sensors, etc., and can also calculate the collected industrial data and cache it locally, and then transmit it to the local or cloud server via WIFI, NB-IoT, etc.
iDTU is highly integrated and provides rich interface support. It can collect various types of data such as DI, AI, and high-speed pulse quantities. It also has built-in various industrial communication protocols and can be combined with WEB configuration functions to meet the data collection needs of most industrial site equipment and environmental parameters. The built-in program of iDTU can accumulate the operating time and output of the collected equipment and complete edge computing of process quantities. Then, it can achieve remote upload of on-site equipment data through RJ45, WIFI, RS485 local networks or NB-IoT operator networks of telecom, mobile, and unicom.

AIMS has been deeply involved in industries such as metallurgy and casting, printing and packaging, consumer goods manufacturing, aerospace and aviation, new energy and environmental protection, power and electrical equipment, and chemical fiber and textile. The first batch of equipment connected by iDTU includes various types of production machines, stackers, AGVs, RGVs, and other production and logistics equipment. With its flexible interface method and simple installation and commissioning features, it has significantly reduced the project construction costs while greatly lowering the network infrastructure and production management costs for customers.

In discrete production enterprises (such as packaging, printing, consumer goods manufacturing, power and electrical equipment industries), iDTU can flexibly choose interface methods based on the characteristics of production machines to achieve machine networking, upload real-time equipment operation status, output information, and process data to the MES system, and complete real-time online production status of equipment, making the production process transparent. In process oriented production enterprises (such as metallurgy, casting, new energy and other industries), iDTU cooperates with environmental sensors to monitor temperature, pressure, dust and other parameters in the production workshop in real time, and triggers alarm bells in case of abnormalities, ensuring equipment and personnel safety while recording environmental parameter trends. With production records, it completes environmental analysis of the product production process. This is after NB IoT technology was officially included in the 5G Internet of Things candidate technology collection, helping the industry accelerate its progress towards industrial Internet.
